In order to isolate the so-called Urinod they concentrated a lot of urine.Unfortunately they do not tell how they obtained the urine.

1000 liters sounds unbelievably traumatic...won't (a) probably isomerize to the more stable alpha-beta unsaturated ketone?
i find it hard to believe too.
My students complain about the stench of isocyanides - this sounds worse. Glad I found your blog!
