There are more chemist statues. For instance Mendeleev has two in Russia (Moscow and St. Petersburg), Marie Curie in Japan (Soka University, Japan) and Kekulé in Bonn, Germany.

It would be interesting to see a list of top five American statues of chemists (or any scientists for that matter). I cannot think of any (I didn't know of the Silliman one until now).
We put statues up of fictional movie characters (Rocky) and of sports stars (Micheal Jordan) but not of scientists. At least, that I know of.
Are there more statues of scientists in the United States that I don't know about?
Sorry to be a pedant, but the second Joseph Priestley statue is in the marketplace of his hometown of Birstall (not Bristall). There used to be a pretty good curry house opposite, but I don't think it's there any more :(
Birstall indeed... Corrected it.

Not many I think. I found two other scientist statues in USA.
Einstein statue in Washington
Nikola Tesla statue in New York
Hey, I have a (sorry, not digital) photo with ny friends under the Baeyer's statue in Munich! There is also a statue of Berzelius in Stockholm, right at the center of the, well, "Berzelii Park".
Sorry I just realized that I wrote "Baeyer" instead of "Liebig"!!!
